The new DISPERMAT® SL-B horizontal mill is based on the proven SL bead mill technology. Since the device is designed with an integrated grinding base circulation system, there is no need for an additional external pump that would require separate cleaning. The speed can be infinitely adjusted via a control unit housed in a separate stainless steel box.
The control unit features a clear digital display that shows the speed, torque, and timer functions of the device, while the product temperature is monitored via a temperature sensor installed in the grinding chamber. The device is suitable for operation with beads of 0.8 mm and larger.
The grinding base is pumped into the grinding chamber by a specially designed screw pump connected to the grinding rotor. The DISPERMAT® SL-B can be operated either in single-pass mode or in circulation mode. At the end of the grinding process, the integrated “press-out” system allows the grinding base remaining in the chamber to be fully discharged, ensuring exceptionally high product yield in both operation modes.
Therefore, the DISPERMAT® SL-B bead mill is ideal for research, development, and quality control applications. An explosion-proof version in compliance with ATEX is also optionally available
