WorléeKyd MH 38
WorléeKyd MH 38 is a short oil very quick drying alkyd resin based on special vegetable fatty acids modified with tung oil for the manufacture of air-drying and stoving primers and finishes.
Compatibility
WorléeKyd MH 38 is compatible with most short and some medium oil length alkyd resins. Also with the usual maleic and phenolic modified hard resins it is compatible.
Solubility
WorléeKyd MH 38 is soluble in all usual solvents.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd MH 38 is mainly used for quick drying primers and top coats with good elasticity. Anticorrosive primers based on WorléeKyd MH 38 are quick drying and have very good elasticity and anticorrosive properties.
Driers
Following driers are recommended for WorléeKyd MH 38:
0.03 – 0.05% Co
0.20 – 0.25% Ca
(metal calculated on solid alkyd resin)
The use of Zirconium driers may lead to gelling.
