Application and Properties
WorléeThix A 2125 can be crosslinked with aliphatic and aromatic polyisocyanates to formulate air and forced drying systems for metal, wood and plastics. The aliphatic system shows excellent hardness, good chemical resistance and a good outdoor durability already at room temperature. WorléeThix A 2125 is suitable for many industrial applications such as agricultural equipment, construction trucks, plastic coatings and it is also used to formulate decorative effect coatings.

For adjusting different resin viscosities, a combination with any WorléeCryl-A-type in any relation is possible.

Cross-linking / Catalization
For 100% cross-linking per 100 g WorléeThix A 2125, 50% 19.4 g Tolonate HDB 75

WorléeThix A 2125 shows high pigment binding properties. For pigmenting normally all neutral pigments and inert fillers can be used. The necessary equivalent quantity of polyisocyanates can be calculated according to the following formula:

Polyisocyanate quantity = (42 × %OH × 100) / (17 × %NCO)

(42 = molecular weight of NCO-group)
(17 = molecular weight of OH-group)

The best results are achieved if on 100 parts WorléeThix A 2125 (delivery form) approx. 17 – 21 parts Tolonate HDB, 75% are used. If the crosslinking should be accelerated it is recommended to add a small amount of organo tin or zinc compounds or tertiary amines (we recommend 1% solution of diethylethanol amine in xylene). The shortened pot life has to be considered.

Pigmentation
WorléeThix A 2125 shows high pigment binding properties. For pigmenting normally all neutral pigments and inert fillers can be used.

Recommended Storage- and Transport Conditions
Avoid direct sunlight, do not store above 30 °C. Stored in original packaging and at room temperature WorléeCryl – hydroxy acrylates have a durability of 12 months.
