Dammar weiß A Type 5200

In combination with oils and alkyds for radiator paints and solvent-based gravure inks with high gloss and good adhesion to plastic

White dammar can also be heated up but be aware of its losing the clear colour when exceeding 120°C. In combination with oils or alkyd resins white dammar is used for radiator coatings especially due to its antiyellowing properties. It also is used in white and stamping enamels because of its almost water white colour and good gloss as well as in fluorescent colours.

Solubility
White dammar is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, glycolethers and high alcohols, partially soluble in esters and ketones and insoluble in low alcohols.

Compatibility
Cold white dammar is compatible with polymerised oils, medium fat alkyd resins and some raw materials for the paint production.
