WorléeKyd C 641
WorléeKyd C 641 is an extremely low viscous alkyd resin based on saturated fatty acids for the combination with nitrocellulose, for clear and pigmented nitrocellulose lacquers and one-comp. acid curing coatings for wood, foil and paper

Compatibility
WorléeKyd C 641 is completely compatible with most short oil alkyds, unmodified urea formaldehyde and melamine resins, nitrocellulose, plasticizers and maleic resins. Due to the numerous products being on the market we recommend trials in advance.
Solubility
WorléeKyd C 641 is completely soluble in aromatics, esters and ketones; partially soluble in aliphatics, glycol ethers and low alcohols.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd C 641 is especially used for high quality clear and pigmented nitrocellulose lacquers. The technical features are: very quick solvent release, good recoatability at any time and very good yellowing resistance. The extremely low viscosity of WorléeKyd C 641 guarantees nitrocellulose lacquers with high film build and very good gloss.
Sanding sealers based on WorléeKyd C 641 and nitrocellulose in the ratio 2:1 (calculated on solids content) dry very quickly and have good sanding properties.
WorléeKyd C 641 is also used in combination with nitrocellulose, plasticizers and unmodified urea resins, catalysed with acid, for one-pack acid curing coatings.
Storage and Stability
Cold related crystallisation is typical for the product and can be diluted by heating it up to 40°C.
