Compatibility
WorléeKyd P 151 is compatible with all types of alkyd resins and physical drying binders.
Solubility
WorléeKyd P 151 is soluble in all normally used solvents.
Application and properties
WorléeKyd P 151 shows outstanding compatibility properties with a large number of binders. Due to the very low viscosity and the very good wetting properties high concentrated pigment pastes can be manufactured. The very good wetting properties of fine particle size, transparent iron oxide pigments has to be stressed. Pastes based on WorléeKyd P 151 can be used universally which has also the effect of rationalization in the paint production.
Drying
The following addition of driers is recommended for WorléeKyd P 151:
- 0.03 – 0.06 Co % metal
- 0.15 – 0.30 Ca % metal
- 0.04 – 0.08 Zr % metal
calculated on 100% alkyd resin
Shelf Life
The storage stability of WorléeKyd P 151 in the originally closed barrel is at a storage temperature from + 5 to + 25 °C 18 months, counted from the day of the delivery ex works.
