Compatibility Ratings of Liquids/Chemicals with Common O-ring Materials
The O-ring seal sets for DISPERMAT® SL and SL-nano can be made from VITON®, EPDM, KALREZ®, CHEMRAZ®, or PERLAST®.
DISPERMAT® SL horizontal bead mills are supplied as standard with VITON (FKM rubber) O-rings.
Alternatively, they can also be supplied with EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) O-rings at no extra cost.
If VITON or EPDM are not compatible with the product to be milled, we recommend using an O-ring set made from one of the perfluoroelastomers such as KALREZ®, CHEMRAZ®, or PERLAST®.
