WorléeSol 68 A
Sillicone-modified, short-oil, water-dilutable alkyd resin for the of corrosion protection primers and top coats with excellent weather resistance
Application and Properties
WorléeSol 68 A is especially suitable as the only binder for the manufacture of extremely high quality, water thinnable industrial paints.
As neutralization agents ammonia, tri ethyl amine, DMAMP 80, AMP 90 (Angus) or similar can be used.
wt. amine= (Mol.wt amine) x (acid value) x (wt resin solids) / 56.100
For WorléeSol 68 A the following drier addition is recommended:
0.05 – 0.15% Co
0.05 – 0.15% Mn for primers and coloured top coats
0.05% Co + 0.1 – 0.6% Zr for white pigmented systems
(all calculated as metal on solids)
WorléeSol 68 A can also be used as a stoving binder.
The suitable reaction partners are Cymel 303 (Cyanamid), Residrol WM 501(Hoechst) or similar.
pH value
After production of the WorléeSol paints the pH value has to be controlled and if necessary adjusted. Optimal properties are achieved at a pH range of 8.2 – 8.5.
Recommended Storage and Transport Conditions
Up to 25 °C. Avoid direct sunlight.
