Branched, water-thinnable polyester resin for the production of non-yellowing stoving primers and top coats with excellent mechanical properties

Application and Properties
WorléePol 194 is a very reactive polyester resin for the manufacture of water thinnable stoving primers, fillers and top coats. Primers and fillers based on WorléePol 194 show excellent mechanical properties. WorléePol 194 is also very much suitable for the formulation of non-yellowing, high gloss top coats with good resistance to chemicals.

Crosslinkers 
WorléePol 194 requires the addition of a fully etherified aminoresin to  achieve useful bake film properties at 140 – 180 °C . Due to the delivery form, only 2.1% co solvent, low VOC formulations are possible.  To guarantee an optimum of storage stability, the pH value should be adjusted between 8.0 – 8.5.

Recommended Storage and Transport Conditions
5 to 25 °C. Protect from freeze and direct sun. Product contains water and storage under 0 °C may cause inhomogenity. In this case, warm up slowly at room temperature, if necessary with the help of a slow stirrer.
