WorléeFen F 120
WorléeFen F 120 is a phenolic modified hard resin mainly used in combination with alkyds and in cooking with drying and stand oils.
Compatibility and Solubility
WorléeFen F 120 is compatible with drying short, medium and long oil alkyds. It is also well compatible with drying oils. WorléeFen F 120 is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ethers. In aliphatic hydrocarbons WorléeFen F 120 is partially soluble.
Application and Properties
WorléeFen F 120 differs from WorléeFen 105 by a higher melting point, more hardness and higher viscosity. WorléeFen F 120 can be used as well for cold blend with alkyds and drying oils as for cooking with drying and stand oils.
Due to the very good water and weather resistance and to the relatively pale colour, WorléeFen F 120 is used for the manufacture of yacht and exterior varnishes. Furthermore WorléeFen F 120 is used in varnishes for floors, furniture and marine paints. WorléeFen F 120 can also be used for alkyd modification.
