Compatibility
WorléeKyd B 865 is compatible with most medium and long oil drying alkyds.
Solubility
WorléeKyd B 865 is well soluble in all solvents with the exception of low alcohols.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd B 865 is a modern long oil alkyd with very good drying properties for the manufacture of all sorts of gloss and high quality anti corrosive paints. The relatively quick drying time until dust free allows a very good application by airless spray. All gloss paints based on WorléeKyd B 865 are distinguished by very good gloss retention, film build, high yellowing resistance and very good outdoor durability.
Driers
The following addition of driers is recommended:
0.04 – 0.06% Co metal
0.05 – 0.09% Zr metal
0.10 – 0.20% Ca metal
or
5.00 – 6.50% Nuodex Combi APB (Rockwood) of drier solution on 100% alkyd resin.
