Application and Properties
W´Cryl A 1220 is an acrylic copolymer for the manufacture of high quality plastic coatings. Due to good adhesion properties even on metal this product is also suitable for paints on composite material, e.g. caravans.

Crosslinking / Catalization
For 100% crosslinking per 100 g W´Cryl A 1220, 60%

25.8 g Desmodur L 67 (Bayer)
28.3 g Desmodur HL (Bayer)
The necessary equivalent quantity of polyisocyanates to be added can be calculated according to the following formula:

Polyisocyanate quantity = (42 x % OH x 100) / (17 x % NCO)

(42 = molecular weight of NCO-group)
(17 = molecular weight of OH-group)

If the crosslinking should be accelerated it is recommended to add a small amount of organo tin or zinc compounds or tertiary amines (we recommend 1% solution of diethylethanol amine in xylene). The shortened pot life has to be considered.

Pigmentation
W´Cryl A 1220 is pigmentable with all neutral, water-free pigments and fillers.

Durability
Stored in original packaging and at room temperature W´Cryl – hydroxy acrylates have a durability of 12 months.
