The RM100 Plus Viscometer is a professional rotational viscometer designed for true viscosity measurements at high shear rates in accordance with ISO 3219 (DIN 11-22-33). It delivers high-precision performance for industrial quality control and R&D applications.
Thanks to its modular design, the instrument can be configured to operate with ASTM D562 / TS 5809 (Krebs-Stormer), ASTM / ISO 2555 (RV), and MS-BV 1-1000 measuring systems. In addition, it can be converted into an ICI Cone & Plate viscometer when used with the EVA-CP temperature-controlled stand.
With rotational speeds of up to 1500 rpm, the RM100 Plus enables measurements at shear rates exceeding 10,000 s⁻¹, making it ideal for evaluating materials under high-shear conditions.
The RM100 Plus combines modern springless measurement technology with a robust mechanical design to provide highly accurate and repeatable viscosity measurements. This advanced construction minimizes the influence of environmental conditions while ensuring stable and reliable data through precise torque measurement.
User-Friendly 7” Touchscreen Display and High Torque Capacity
The RM100 Plus features a 7-inch touchscreen that allows all measurement parameters to be displayed simultaneously, enabling users to monitor and control the testing process with ease.

Its high torque capacity enables the RM100 Plus to measure coatings with viscosities above 141 KU, a range beyond the capability of standard Krebs viscometers. Through non-standard extrapolation methods, measurements up to 250 KU can also be achieved, providing exceptional flexibility for industrial applications.
Integrated Temperature Monitoring
The instrument is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor that allows direct monitoring of sample temperature during testing. This feature is particularly valuable for temperature-sensitive materials, ensuring more accurate viscosity evaluations.
The RM100 Plus Viscometer is supplied as standard with a laboratory stand and integrated temperature sensor. Measuring systems such as Krebs, RV, and Cone & Plate can be selected separately and integrated according to application requirements.
LR Version for Low Viscosity Applications
A low-torque LR version is available for highly sensitive measurement of very low-viscosity products. This configuration provides improved accuracy when working in low-viscosity ranges and is particularly beneficial for laboratories requiring precise low-shear measurements.
