RM100 Plus is designed for true viscosity measurement at high shear rates in accordance with ISO 3219 (DIN11-22-33). Thanks to its modular design, the device can also be operated with ASTM D 562 / TS 5809 (Krebs-Stormer), ASTM / ISO 2555 (RV) or MS-BV 1-1000 measurement systems. When combined with the EVA-CP Temperature Control Stand, it can be converted into an ICI Cone & Plate Viscometer. With rotation speeds up to 1500 rpm, the RM100 allows operation at shear rates exceeding 10,000 s⁻¹.
The modern, springless measurement technology and robust construction result in an exceptionally accurate and reliable measuring instrument. The 7″ touchscreen offers ease of use and allows all parameters to be viewed simultaneously. Thanks to its high torque, the RM100 can measure paints with viscosities above 141 KU, unlike standard Krebs viscometers. With non-standard extrapolation, it is also possible to measure up to 250 KU using the standard Krebs spindle.
The RM100 Plus is equipped with an integrated temperature sensor and comes with a standard laboratory stand. The desired measurement system(s) must be purchased separately.
With its new low torque LR version, the RM100 Plus also offers enhanced sensitivity for measuring low-viscosity products. All models are supplied with a calibration certificate.
