TQC-Sheen CC1000 Cross Cut Adhesion Test Kit is used to test the adhesion strength of dry paint films by creating a series of cuts on the coated surface. Two sets of parallel lines are drawn at right angles to each other, forming a grid pattern of either 25 or 100 squares. After making the cuts, the area is brushed or, for hard surfaces, tested with adhesive tape. The result is then compared to a classification chart for evaluation.
The circular cutting blade of the TQC-Sheen CC1000 Cross Cut Adhesion Test Kit has eight cutting edges that can be easily rotated as they wear. The rotating head handle of the kit ensures equal pressure is applied to each tooth of the blade.
The kit includes a rotary head knife with a non-slip handle, a brush, an illuminated magnifier, and adhesive tape compliant with TS EN ISO 2409:2003.
