Compatibility
WorléeKyd S 6003 hv is compatible with the majority of medium and long oil types air drying alkyd resins and with nearly all maleic and phenolic modified hard resins.

Solubility
WorléeKyd S 6003 hv is soluble in all solvents.

Application and Properties
WorléeKyd S 6003 hv is mainly recommended as the only binder for high quality interior and exterior wood varnishes for floors, parquets, primers and top coats. Due to the good compatibility with most of long oil type alkyd resins, WorléeKyd S 6003 hv can also be used as a combination resin reducing the drying time and increasing the hardness and the resistance properties.

When paints or lacquers based on WorléeKyd S 6003 hv are applied by conventional or airless spray, only water irrigated spraying cabinets are recommended as the spraying dust tends to self-ignition if it is dry.

Driers
The following driers are recommended:

0.02 – 0.05% Co
0.03 – 0.08% Zr
0.10 – 0.20% Ca calculated on solid alkyd resin
or
4 – 5% Nuodex Combi APB (Rockwood) of the solution on solid alkyd resin.
