WorléeSin MK 223

Application and Properties
Because of its good compatibility with nitrocellulose, WorléeSin MK 223 is mainly used for high quality nitrocellulose lacquers. Even small quantities of WorléeSin MK 223 in these lacquers improve hardness, scratch resistance and film build. Due to its rapid solvent release, such combinations are also best suitable for modern industrial applications dried at higher temperature.

A combination of nitrocellulose, non-drying alkyds such as WorléeKyd C 640 or WorléeKyd C 641, plasticizers and of a high amount of WorléeSin MK 223 is recommended for the manufacture of dipping varnishes of high build and flexibility.

WorléeSin MK 223 is also suitable for quick drying sanding sealers without fear of reaction with basic zinc soaps.

Sustainability
The proportion of bio-based raw materials is about 78%, calculated on solids.

Compatibility
WorléeSin MK 223 is compatible with nitrocellulose, non-drying short oil alkyds and urea formaldehyde resins. Due to the large number of different resins, a compatibility test is recommended.

Solubility
WorléeSin MK 223 is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol esters. It is insoluble in aliphatics and alcohols but both solvents can be used in combination with others.

Shelf Life
The storage stability of WorléeSin MK 223 in the originally closed barrel is at a storage temperature from +5 to +25 °C six months, counted from the day of the delivery ex works.
