Ketone aldehyde resins

The Polytone K series comprises neutral, unsaponifiable ketone formaldehyde resins, which produced by alkaline polycondensation of cyclohexanone with formaldehyde. The light-colored hard resins are suitable for applications in paints, coatings, adhesives and printing inks. Their use in coating systems can improve a wide range of product properties, such as gloss, flow, hardness, adhesion and filling capacity.

Silica brine

Köstrosole® are milky, cloudy, aqueous colloidal nanoparticle dispersions of amorphous silicon dioxide. The particles are produced from high-purity alkali silicate, are spherical and hydroxylated on the surface. Depending on the target application, the silica brines can modified and changed in terms of their reactivity.
