WorléeThix V 747

Compatibility
WorléeThix V 747 is compatible with most medium and long oil air drying alkyd resins. It is also compatible with maleic and phenolic modified hard resins.

Solubility
WorléeThix V 747 is soluble in all common solvents.

Application and Properties
WorléeThix V 747 is especially recommended for primers, mat wall paints and silk gloss paints and for thixotropic glossy decorative and protective house paints. With addition of WorléeThix V 747 thick layer anti corrosion systems for the heavy corrosion protection can be produced.

All these paint systems show very good application properties while brushing rolling and spraying. WorléeThix V 747 avoids sagging from vertical surfaces.

WorléeThix V 747 can be combined with other alkyd resins like e.g.

• WorléeKyd S 351 (for silk gloss paints)
• WorléeKyd B 865 U (for silk gloss paints)
• WorléeKyd B 870 (for glossy decorative paints) etc.
• The outdoor resistance of WorléeThix V 747 is excellent.

The use of polar solvents should be avoided. As they have negative influence on the thixotropy of WorléeThix V 747. It should be observed that also no strong polar treated matting agents are used.

Driers
Following drier for WorléeThix V 747 is recommended:
5.50% Nuodex Combi APB (Rockwood) of solution on solid alkyd resin.
