TQC Sheen Surface Profile & Coating Thickness Gauge is a combined instrument that can be fitted with two different probes. One probe is used for measuring surface roughness, while the other is used for coating thickness measurement (according to Roßmann).
The device is delivered with a detachable, sharp tungsten carbide tip for surface profile measurement, a hardened rounded tip for thickness measurement, a glass plate for zero calibration, and a leather carrying case.
