WorléeKyd C 632 M
WorléeKyd C 632 M is an especially modified short oil alkyd resin based on selected fatty acids for the manufacture of PVC resistant NC combination lacquers and paints

Compatibility
WorléeKyd C 632 M is normally well compatible with short oil alkyd resins and amino resins. Due to the numerous products being on the market we recommend trials before use.
Solubility
WorléeKyd C 632 M is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, glycolethers and glycol ether esters. It is unsoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols. However these can be used in combination with “real” solvents.
Application and properties
WorléeKyd C 632 M is used in combination with nitrocellulose for the manufacture of PVC resistance NC-lacquers and paints. An addition of urea resin and acid catalyst is not necessary. The ratio alkyd resin / nitrocellulose (on solids) can vary between 1,5 : 1 and 2:1 depending on the requirements.
For plastifying the nitrocellulose we recommend the addition of approx. 35% plasticizer calculated on dry nitrocellulose for which a ratio gelling / not gelling plasticizer of approx. 2:1 has proved to be suitable.
The delivery form in butylacetate enables the manufacture of aromatic free NC lacquers and paints.
