Quick-drying radiator and industrial paints with low yellowing tendency. WorléeKyd B 845-based paints produce a deep gloss and are therefore also suitable as a combination partner for short oil alkyds to increase the gloss
Compatibility
WorléeKyd B 845 is compatible with short and medium oil alkyd resins. With long oil alkyds, B 845 is partly compatible. The addition of a maleic resin can improve the compatibility with long oil alkyds. WorléeKyd B 845 is compatible with the usual maleic and phenolic modified resins.
Solubility
WorléeKyd B 845 is soluble in all solvents with the exception of low alcohols.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd B 845 is a modern, multi-purpose medium oil length alkyd resin. Due to the very good properties, WorléeKyd B 845 is used as a binder for high quality industrial enamels, radiator, dipping and flow coating paints and enamels for trucks, touring cars, omnibuses, tractors and agricultural equipment. WorléeKyd B 845 can also be used for nitro cellulose combinations and for air- and heat drying primers with very good elasticity.
Driers
The following addition of driers is recommended for WorléeKyd B 845
0.04 – 0.06% Co metal
0.05 – 0.09% Zr metal
0.10 – 0.20% Ca metal
metal on 100% alkyd resin
or
5.00 – 6.50% Nuodex Combi APB (Elementis) of drier solution on 100% alkyd resin
