Recommended Uses
WorléeAdd 6226 is suitable for all kinds of aqueous and water thinnable systems like printing inks as well as paints and coatings for brush, roll, spray and dip application. It offers very good defoaming properties in acrylic-, styrene acrylic- and polyurethane dispersions, alkyd emulsions and hybrid systems. Typical use level is 0.1 – 1.0% on total formulation.

Incorporation
WorléeAdd 6226 needs high shear forces for incorporation and therefore should be incorporated preferably in the grinding process. In case of surface defects appearing prepare a premix with co-solvents like butyl glycol, dipropylene glycol mono methyl ether or Texanol. This improves the compatibility, especially in clear coatings.

Optimal use levels for specific formulations should be evaluated by laboratory tests. If assistance is needed, please contact your Worlée representative.

Handling and Storage
Protect from freezing, store in a dry and cool place and keep containers tightly closed.
Minimum shelf life is 12 months.
