Universal rust protection primers, adhesive primers and single-coat paints, very good adhesion on problematic substrates
Application and Properties
WorléeDur D 6311 is especially suitable for the manufacture of universal primers, adhesion primers, anticorrosive primers and one-coat paints. Systems based on WorléeDur D 6311 show good application properties (brush application), good flow and good adhesion properties.
When formulating primers an optimal pigment-filler package should be observed. One-coat paints based on WorléeDur D 6311 should be formulated with suitable light stabilizer for gloss retention and colour stability.
Compatibility
WorléeDur D 6311 should not be combined with other binders. Adhesion properties could become worse.
Solubility
WorléeDur D 6311 is soluble in all usual solvents. Special remark: good solubility in dearomatized hydrocarbons and isoparaffines.
Drying
Following driers are recommended for WorléeDur D 6311:
a) cobalt-containing
0.01 – 0.03% Co metal
0.08 – 0.15% Ca metal
(calculated on solid resin)
b) cobalt-free
1.50 – 2.00% WorléeAdd 2560
0.10 – 0.15% Ca metal
(calculated on solid resin)
Shelf Life
The storage stability of WorléeDur D 6311 in the originally closed barrel is at a storage temperature from +5 to +25 °C six months, counted from the day of the delivery ex works.
