WorléeAdd 484

WorléeAdd 484 is a specially modified polyester resin to improve the adhesion of stoving- and two component polyurethane systems on various substrates like metal and melamine resin coated chipboards. It has also a positive influence on leveling and elasticity of the dried films.

Negative influences on weather resistance, recoatability or storage stability were not observed. Preferred application fields are solvent based stoving paints as well as air- and oven drying two component polyurethane systems.

Due to its legal status WorléeAdd 484 is also suited to be used in can coatings. Compatibility given (tests), the use in water soluble systems is also possible. Typical use level is 1.0 – 3.0% on total formulation.

Incorporation
Optimal use levels for specific formulations should be evaluated by laboratory tests. If assistance is needed, please contact your Worlée representative. WorléeAdd 484 should preferably he incorporated with agitation at the end of the production process and before the final thinning step.

Handling and Storage
Store in a dry and cool place and keep containers tightly closed. Shelf life in unopened packages is at least 12 month
