RM 200 Plus Rheometer is a shear rate–based rheometer offering a wide variable speed range from 0.3 to 1500 rpm. With the RM 200 Plus, it is possible to generate viscosity flow curves and analyze them according to various models—without the need for a computer.

Its modern, springless measurement technology and robust design result in an undeniably precise and reliable measuring instrument. The 7″ touchscreen interface makes operation intuitive and allows all parameters to be viewed simultaneously on-screen. Thanks to its high torque, the RM 200 Plus is capable of performing rheological analysis on fluids ranging from 1 to 510 million cP, depending on the selected measuring system and speed.

The RM 200 Plus comes with an integrated temperature sensor and is delivered with a standard laboratory stand. The desired measuring systems must be ordered separately.

The new low-torque LR version of the RM 200 Plus offers enhanced sensitivity for measuring the apparent viscosity of very low-viscosity products. All models are delivered with a calibration certificate.

Single Device Multiple Measurement System

Like all Lamy Viscometers, the RM200 is equipped with multiple measuring systems. With additional measuring spindles, it is possible to perform viscosity measurements and rheological analysis on the same device according to different standards. With RM 200 – Rheometer, it is possible to perform measurements with ISO 3219 (MS-DIN-11-22-33), ISO 2884-1 ICI Cone & Plate, ISO 2555 (apparent viscosity determination by Brookfield method), TS 5809 – Krebs-Stormer and MS-BV1-1000 systems.

Springless Design

Lamy viscometers feature a springless design. This innovative construction is unaffected by ambient temperature changes and eliminates the need for precise leveling using a spirit level. It is suitable not only for high-precision analytical laboratory environments but also for demanding industrial conditions.

Rheological Analysis

With the RM200, the rheological behavior of liquids under different shear rates can be analyzed without the need for a computer connection or software. Data can optionally be transferred to a computer using the Rheomatic software.
