TQC Sheen DIN 53211 Viscosity Cups are used to measure the viscosity of paints, varnishes, and other liquids. They are widely used to adjust the application viscosity of paints, printing inks, and varnishes. Manufactured with high precision, these cups feature a stainless steel orifice. TQC Sheen DIN 53211 cups are available in two versions: titanium-anodized aluminum and stainless steel. Typically used in laboratories, they are designed to be operated with a stand.
Although DIN 53211 officially defines only the 4 mm orifice diameter, industry demand has led to the development of additional orifice sizes—2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 mm—without modifying the internal geometry of the cup. These sizes, while not defined in the standard, are commonly used in industrial applications to accommodate products of different viscosities.
