The cationic binders include acrylate solutions and acrylate dispersions and differ from the commercially available acrylates in that an aminic group incorporated into the polymer chain instead of (meth)acrylic acid. This leads to broader adhesion properties and outstanding insulating properties against wood ingredients, felt tip pens and anionic soiling. Some products in this group are formulated without the addition of biocides.
