Resiflow PV 88 is a white, free-flowing powder flow and levelling agent especially developed to correct surface imperfections in powder and injection molding systems.
Craters, pinholes and fisheyes may be eliminated or substantially reduced by incorporating 0.5 – 1.5% based on total formulation of Resiflow PV 88 into all kinds of powder coatings.
However, the optimum concentration for each specific system should be determined by laboratory evaluation. Resiflow PV 88 is a UV-stable product with excellent outdoor durability.
Application and Properties
Resiflow PV 88 is recommended as a flow promoting agent for powder coating and injection molding compositions based on e.g. acrylic, epoxy, polyester, hybrid and polyurethane resins. Resiflow PV 88 is also suitable for polyester/glycoluril powder coatings.
As a free-flowing powder, Resiflow PV 88 is easily incorporated into powder coating formulations by the standard dry blending operation.
The compatibility with powder coatings containing different flow control additives could be critical. We recommend corresponding preliminary trials.
