Pocket-Surfix® X-Series Coating Thickness Gauges are portable instruments designed for quick, reliable, and precise coating thickness measurements of varnishes, paints, and electroplated coatings on ferrous (iron/steel) or non-ferrous metals.
These coating thickness gauges are especially convenient due to their integrated probe. The measuring tip is made of carbide metal, providing exceptional wear resistance and ensuring a very long service life. The wide footprint and V-groove of the plastic base allow for vertical positioning on flat, cylindrical, and curved surfaces.
A bright LED backlight ensures that measurement readings remain easily visible even under challenging conditions. All Pocket-Surfix® X-Series devices are equipped with data memory and can be connected to a PC via a USB 2.0 interface.
Three versions are available:
- Pocket-Surfix® X-FN: for measurements on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Pocket-Surfix® X-F: for measurements on ferrous (iron/steel) metals only
- Pocket-Surfix® X-N: for measurements on non-ferrous metals only
