WorléeKyd V 5241 U is a low-viscosity linseed oil-modified polyurethane for the production ofhigh-solids, environmentally friendly coating systems. The renewable raw material content is approximately 80 %. It is particularly suitable for the production ofwood preservative impregnationsand wood preservative vanishes use. By combining it with medium-, long-, and faster-drying urethane-modified alkyd resins, it canbe used to produce highly weather-resistant, high-solids clearcoats and primers.

Compatibility
WorléeKyd V 5241 U is compatible with most air drying medium and long oil alkyd resins.

Solubility
WorléeKyd V 5241 U is soluble in all usual solvents.

Application and Properties
WorléeKyd V 5241 U is a low viscosity linseed oil based urethane alkyd resin. WorléeKyd V 5241 U is particularly suitable for manufacturing of preservative impregnation for wood and wood preservative glazing paint.

Through combination with medium and long oil and fast drying urethane modified alkyd resins very good weather resistance, high solid clear
lacquers and high solid primers can be produced.

When paints or lacquers based on WorléeKyd V 5241 U are applied by conventional or airless spray, only water irrigated spraying cabinets are recommended as the spraying dust tends to self-ignition if it is dry.
