WorléeKyd E 55 is a long oil low viscosity alkyd resin based on drying vegetable fatty acids
Compatibility
WorléeKyd E 55 is compatible with the majority of medium and long oil alkyd resins. It is also compatible with most maleic and phenolic modified hard resins.
Solublity
WorléeKyd E 55 is soluble in all common solvents.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd E 55 is suitable as a sole binder and especially in combination with medium oil alkyd resins for the manufacture of high quality industrial coatings like car repair, machine and agricultural implement paints.
Driers
The following driers are recommended for WorléeKyd E 55:
0.04 – 0.06% Co Metal
0.05 – 0.09% Zr metal
0.10 – 0.20% Ca metal
(on 100% alkyd resin)
or
5.00 – 6.50% Nuodex Combi APB (Rockwood) of drier solution on 100% alkyd resin.
