WorléeKyd B 870 is a long oil low-viscosity drying alkyd based on vegetable fatty acids for high quality air drying gloss paints
Compatibility
WorléeKyd B 870 is compatible with most medium and long oil drying alkyds, with most usual hard resins and also with raw and polymerised oils.
Solubility
WorléeKyd B 870 is soluble in all common solvents.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd B 870 is especially developed for high quality non-yellowing gloss paints, such as all sorts of decorative and trade sales paints. Due to the low viscosity and very good pigment wetting properties, the gloss paints based on WorléeKyd B 870 have excellent brushability, high film build, very good levelling properties and high gloss and gloss retention.
Drying
The following drying is recommended:
0.03 – 0.06% Co
0.04 – 0.09% Zr
0.15 – 0.20% Ca
(metal content on 100% alkyd resin)
or
6.5% Nuodex Combi APB (Rockwood) (on alkyd solid content)
