WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv

Compatibility
WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv is completely compatible with most airdrying medium and long oil alkyd resins, with maleic resins and phenolic modified rosins, with raw oils and chlorinated rubber. WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv is partially compatible with low viscous stand oils.

Solubility
WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv is well soluble in all solvents with the exception of low alcohols.

Application and Properties
WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv is especially recommended for primers with very good flow properties and excellent brushability. Also at high p.v.c. good film flow is obtained. Although the drying is quick, the film remains open long enough for painting large surfaces. Sanding is possible after approx. 20 hours drying time.

The addition of thixotropic agents or the combination with thixotropic alkyd resins (e.g. WorléeThix V 727) makes the production of flat wall paints with excellent brushability and no tendency to sagging and dripping from the brush possible.

WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv is also well suited for use in flat and semi-gloss interior paints with good yellowing resistance and brushability; for primed and porous substrates. By the addition of small amounts matting agent even flat and semi-gloss paints can be achieved. Ready made paints with WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv has no tendency to sinkage on porous substrates.

Driers
Following driers are recommended for WorléeKyd S 351 nv nv:
0.04 – 0.06% Co
0.05 – 0.09% Zr
0.10 – 0.20% Ca
(metal calculated on solid resin)
or
5.00 – 6.50% Nuodex Combi APB (Rockwood) of solution on solid alkyd resin.
