WorléeKyd MH 42 is an air drying alkyd resin based on special mixed fatty acids for the use in anti corrosion primers and top coats
Compatibility
WorléeKyd MH 42 is compatible with short oil, medium oil and some long oil alkyd resins. Furthermore there is good compatibility with physical drying binders like vinyl mixed polymerisates (e.g. Laroflex, BASF) and chlorinated rubber (e.g. Pergut, Bayer).
Solubility
WorléeKyd MH 42 is soluble in white spirit and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and terpene hydrocarbons.
Application and Properties
WorléeKyd MH 42 is an allround alkyd resin with very good drying properties in base and top coats.
The good solubility and dilutability in white spirit has to be stressed. With WorléeKyd MH 42 environmentally friendly, xylene free anti-corrosion and weather resistant paint systems can be manufactured.
Driers
The following driers are recommended for WorléeKyd MH 42:
0.04 – 0.07% Co metal
0.10 – 0.30% Ca metal
based on 100% alkyd resin
