Thixotropic long oil alkyd for undercoats, gloss paints and silk gloss paints, wall paints, as well as wood stain and rust protection paints

Compatibility
WorléeThix V 727 is compatible with most medium and long oil air drying alkyd resins. It is also compatible with maleic and phenolic modified hard resins.

Solubility
WorléeThix V 727 is well soluble in all mainly used solvents.

Application and Properties
WorléeThix V 727 is especially suitable in primers, mat wall paints, thick coat anti corrosive systems and high quality gloss and silk gloss paints. These systems show especially good application properties while spraying, rolling and brushing. WorléeThix V 727 reduces sagging from vertical surfaces.

WorléeThix V 727 can be combined with other alkyd resins like e.g.

  • WorléeKyd S 351 (for semi-gloss paints)
  • WorléeKyd B 865 (thick coat anti corrosive systems)
  • WorléeKyd B 870 (for glossy decorative paints) and more

The use of strong polar additives and polar solvents should be avoided. The thixotropy of WorléeThix V 727 is reduced by polar compounds. When selecting matting agents, it should be observed that no too strong polar treated matting agents should be used.

Driers
Following driers are recommended for WorléeThix V 727:
