Silicone-based, silica-containing defoamer emulsion for aqueous formulations, easy handling possible, especially for PU, PU hybrid and alkyd emulsions
Recommended Uses
All kinds of aqueous and water thinnable systems like adhesives and printing inks as well as paints and coatings for brush, roll and dip application. Typical use level is 0.3 – 1.0% on total formulation.
Incorporation
For use in let-down and post-addition only. WorléeAdd 6410 is an emulsion which needs only low shear forces for homogeneous incorporation. High shear forces may result in reduction of the particle size and loss of efficacy.
In some systems WorléeAdd 6410 shows loss of defoaming power after storage at lower temperatures. Therefore please check the defoaming power before and after one week storage at approx. 7 °C prior to final use.
Optimal use levels for specific formulations should be evaluated by laboratory tests. If assistance is needed, please contact your Worlée representative.
Handling and Storage
Store in a dry and cool place and keep containers tightly closed.
Shelf Life
The storage stability of WorléeAdd 6410 in the originally closed barrel is at a storage temperature from + 5 to + 25 °C twelve months, counted from the day of the delivery ex works.
