The TMI Büchel 32-76e is a professional testing instrument developed to measure the coefficient of friction (COF), peel strength, and heat seal performance of plastic films, packaging materials, labels, and adhesive surfaces. The coefficient of friction (COF) describes the sliding resistance between two surfaces and is a critical parameter for packaging performance.

The 32-76e Coefficient of Friction / Peel Tester provides precise and reliable measurements with its 7-inch full-color touchscreen and high-speed data acquisition system. Capable of performing 500 readings within the first second, the device ensures high accuracy, especially in static COF measurements.

Supporting COF (friction), T-peel, and 180° peel tests, the instrument automatically reports static and kinetic friction values as well as peel strength results including average, minimum, maximum, and standard deviation values.

With an optional heated platen reaching temperatures from ambient up to 162°C, interchangeable load cells ranging from 5 N to 100 N, and multiple unit options including COF, g, N, kg, lbs, and ounces, the system offers flexible use across a wide variety of materials and applications.

The system operates with adjustable test distance and time parameters and can store up to 100 measurements together with average and standard deviation values. Its direct-drive arm structure, precise sliding control, and magnetic sled system simplify testing procedures while improving measurement accuracy.

Collected data can be transferred directly to the GraphMasterPro™ PC software for curve analysis, data storage, and detailed reporting. Mini USB connectivity and USB data transfer support also allow easy computer integration.
