TQC Sheen Scrub Abrasion and Washability Tester

The TQC Sheen Wet Scrub Tester is designed to determine the resistance of paints, varnishes, and similar coatings applied on panels against scratching, abrasion, color change, or gloss reduction caused by dry or wet scrubbing. It simulates the everyday wear resulting from normal use or cleaning processes. The instrument is also suitable for testing plastics, wooden panels, kitchen countertops, household appliances, and similar surfaces.

What Is a Wet Scrub Test?

The wet scrub test is used to determine the resistance of paints and coatings against friction and abrasion caused by cleaning operations. The TQC Sheen Wet Scrub Resistance Tester can also be used to evaluate the performance of cleaning agents and their components.

This test allows the assessment of:

Simultaneous Testing of 4 Samples on 2 Panels

The integrated dual-pump system allows testing with two different solutions simultaneously. Each pump supplies two test channels and can be operated independently. Thanks to this feature, the TQC Scrub Tester can be used not only in the paint industry but also in the detergent industry.

The TQC Sheen Wet Scrub Resistance Tester is equipped with a micro-step controlled electric motor that provides precise constant speed and sinusoidal motion control. Its multilingual operating menu, large illuminated display, and rotary push-button control make operation highly intuitive.
