The Machu Test Knife enables the execution of a Machu corrosion test.
The knife can also be used to make an Andreas Cross Cut on panels prepared for Salt Spray Testing. Each tool is compliant with ISO 17872 and comes with a 1 mm wide cutting blade designed to cut through the coating down to the metal.
Two models are available:
The Basic Machu Test Knife is based on the CC2000 model. This tool features a self-positioning blade holder, allowing a perpendicular cut through the coating to expose the coated surface.
The Professional Machu Test Knife is based on the CC3000 Cross-Cut model and features adjustable cutting depth and dual guide rollers for precise control. Adjustable depth is crucial for ensuring repeatable and consistent test results.
