Reliable Coating Quality Control with Qualicoat Test Instruments
Qualicoat is a certification system that evaluates the quality and durability of aluminum surfaces after powder coating or liquid painting in accordance with international standards. These standards cover many properties of the coating such as surface appearance, thickness, adhesion, flexibility, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance, all of which are measured through specific tests.
In order to carry out these tests, specially designed Qualicoat testing instruments are required. These instruments accurately and reliably measure whether coated aluminum surfaces comply with international standards during production and quality control processes.
The equipment listed below is part of the Qualicoat kit. We recommend checking which instruments you already have.

The Machu Test Knife enables the execution of a Machu corrosion test. The knife can also be used to make an Andreas Cross Cut on panels prepared for Salt Spray Testing. Each tool is compliant with ISO 17872 and comes with a 1 mm wide cutting blade designed to cut through the coating down to the metal.
