Surfix Pro X
State-of-the-Art Measurement Technology – Dry Film Thickness Gauge with External Probe
Our new premium product meets the high demands of modern coating thickness gauges with numerous new features.
Surfix® Pro X offers easy handling in almost every application area, along with interchangeable probes and maximum precision.
Surfix Pro X is the new premium coating thickness gauge from Phynix. In addition to all the features of the Surfix Pro S model, this device offers a high-resolution color display, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 interfaces, and a memory capacity of 50,000 measurements.
A wide variety of interchangeable probes provide multiple options for both universal applications and special measurement requirements. These probes, including one of the smallest measuring probes in the world, enable reliable measurements even in challenging geometries such as inside tubes, slits, and pipes.
F-type probes measure on ferrous metals like steel and iron using the magnetic induction method (TS 2311 / EN ISO 2178), while N-type probes are used for non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, bronze, and zinc using the eddy current method (TS 2674 / EN ISO 2360). FN-type probes combine both methods, allowing measurements on all types of metal substrates.
Another sector where the Surfix Pro X is used is the rubber and conveyor belt industry. With specially designed probes for measuring rubber thickness over steel mesh, it is ideal for determining the thickness of the rubber layers on the surface and sidewalls of tires.
