TORUSMILL® TML – High-Efficiency Basket Mill System

The TORUSMILL® TML is a highly efficient basket milling system, consisting of a grinding basket immersed directly into the mill base for dispersion. During operation, the grinding shaft — which includes the milling disc, dissolver disc, and pumping wheel — rotates, while the grinding basket remains stationary. The rotating milling disc agitates the beads inside the basket, dispersing the product efficiently.

The dissolver disc and pumping wheel at the lower end of the shaft ensure effective circulation of the mill base, resulting in excellent dispersion results in a short amount of time.

The TML basket milling system features a special adaptor flange, allowing it to be mounted on any DISPERMAT® without additional equipment. If frequent changes between a standard dissolver shaft and the TML basket system are expected, we recommend the optional DL dissolver shaft for easier handling.

Available TML Basket Mill Designs:

• TML Basket Mill
  Standard design for use with milling beads starting from 0.5 mm.
  Optional: vacuum, nano, scraper, and ceramic versions

• TML-NANO Basket Mill
  Nano basket mill designed for milling beads smaller than 0.2 mm.
  Optional: vacuum, ceramic, and scraper versions

• TML-VACUUM Basket Mill
  For dispersion under vacuum.
  Optional: nano and ceramic versions

• TML-CERAMIC Basket Mill
  Grinding chamber, milling disc, separation screen, and container available in SiSiC or ZrO₂ ceramic materials.
  Optional: vacuum, scraper, and nano versions

• TML-SCRAPER Basket Mill
  For high-viscosity products, the TML can be combined with the ASC modular scraper system.
